Ozempic injection may increase the risk that you will develop tumors of the thyroid gland, including medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC; a type of thyroid cancer)Nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea are the most common Ozempic side effects. But they usually subside after a few weeks of using the medication. Although rare, serious side effects are possible.
