Tirzepatide is the first dual targeted treatment for weight loss and diabetes. It is a dual GIP / GLP-1 agonist. GLP-1 and GIP are peptide hormones that are secreted with the benefit of utilizing cells from intestines called enteroendocrine cells in reaction to the consumption of nutrients, and they have an important function in postprandial metabolism. Due to this unique dual activity property, it is also referred to as “twincretin.” Tirzepatide works as an appetite suppressant and by controlling insulin levels to avoid large spikes in blood sugar.

HOW IS TIRZEPATIDE DIFFERENT FROM SEMAGLUTIDE?

Until now, semaglutide has been considered the newest and the most powerful weight loss medication, but tirzepatide appears to produce even greater weight loss by stimulating two satiety hormone receptors instead of just one. Some patients do better on one versus another. It can be patient specific.

Tirzepatide can cause side effects. The most common side effects reported by patients were nausea, diarrhea, decreased appetite, indigestion, vomiting, constipation, and stomach pain. Talk to your doctor about any side effects you have.

Tirzepatide  may cause thyroid C-cell tumors. Tell your doctor if you have a personal or family history of thyroid cancer or a condition called Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia (MEN) syndrome (a syndrome that causes tumors to develop on endocrine glands). If you experience any of the following symptoms, call your doctor immediately: lump or swelling in your neck, hoarseness, trouble swallowing, or shortness of breath.

How does it work

This combination of Tirzepatide and B157 is a powerful treatment for those suffering from multiple metabolic conditions. It works by increasing levels of certain digestive enzymes, which can improve nutrient absorption and reduce inflammation. Additionally, it has been shown to effectively lower blood glucose levels, reduce body fat levels and boost energy.
